.ldtEcho/.ldtErrEcho

Description

  1. Displays the current LogDate and LogTime followed by an optional message.
  2. .ldtEcho echoes "yyyymmdd hhmnss Text" to STDOUT.  LogDate is always yyyymmdd, LogTime is always hhmnss.  Text is optional.
  3. .ldtErrEcho does the same, but echoes to STDERR.

  • [Text] longer than 54 characters may wrap in an 80-column console window.
  • Leading zeroes will be added to months, days, hours and minutes  less than 10
  • Variables within [Text] will be expanded (like "CALL ECHO").
  • For standard DATE and TIME output in local format, see the ".dtEcho" command.
