We make every effort to provide quality knowledge products and services, both free and pay, and to ensure that they are as reliable and accurate as possible.  With that said, we don't guarantee anything whatsoever except that you will receive the actual item(s) ordered.  Due to the nature of our products and services, once they are delivered, they cannot be returned for any reason.  Any actions you take based on information we provide are at your own discretion, and at your own risk.

The Long Version
(THIS IS THE ONE THAT COUNTS)

1. It is understood that JWC Computer Communications dba TheSystemGuard.com and associated web sites ("The Company") sells and provides knowledge products and services ("The Knowledge") in various electronic forms.

2. It is further understood that any individual(s) and/or business(es) that use(s) The Knowledge ("Clients") are granted access to, or possession of, digital copies of The Knowledge subject to applicable licenses and after paying any applicable fees.

3. The Company will make all reasonable efforts (reasonable, as defined solely by The Company) to ensure that The Knowledge is accurate and up to date at the time it is published or distributed.  The Company will correct, as time and resources permit, technical inaccuracies or omissions as we become aware of them, provided the inaccuracies or omissions relate to Group I Platforms (see Compatibility Page).  By purchasing or using The Knowledge, Clients agree and understand that The Company DOES NOT WARRANT that specific functions or features of The Knowledge will meet any requirement(s), be error-free, or that defects will be corrected to Clients satisfaction, or at all.

4. It is understood that the subject matter upon which The Knowledge is based is in a continuous state of change, and that some or all of The Knowledge that is sold or provided may become "outdated" shortly after purchase or distribution.  The Company in no way agrees, either for FREE or for FEE, to update or upgrade The Knowledge, except as time and resources permit, at the sole discretion of The Company.

5. The Knowledge is sold and/or distributed exclusively in electronic form, and in "plain text".  The Company and Clients recognize that there is no practical method for "returning" The Knowledge once it has been sold or provided to Clients by The Company.  No refunds or credits will be issued under any conditions, for any reason.

6. Where practical, The Company makes The Knowledge available in "Test Suites" at extremely low cost to allow Clients to ensure that the The Knowledge will meet their particular requirements and function in their particular environment prior to rollout. 

7. The Company cannot and does not guarantee that Clients' results will be the same as ours (even if you are using "exactly" the same hardware, software and procedures).  There are a wide variety of factors that contribute to, or detract from, successful use of The Knowledge.  These include, but are not limited to, hardware, software and the experience of the installer/user/operator.  Every configuration has its own unique characteristics.

8. Clients are completely and totally responsible for all actions taken on client systems.  If you are unsure of what you are about to do, BECOME SURE BEFORE YOU PROCEED!!!  If necessary, consult a qualified professional that can be onsite (physically or virtually) during the procedure.  We do offer the above service at an additional fee - contact our Sales Department with details of your needs for further information as well as pricing.

9. To the greatest extent allowable by law, and without exception for any reason, Client agrees to absolve The Company and its employees from any and all responsibility for any losses, financial or otherwise, resulting from Clients' use, attempted use or misuse of The Knowledge.

10. Clients agree not to attempt to modify, reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or misrepresent the origin of,  The Knowledge,  except as provided for in the applicable license.

11. The Federal Trade Commission's Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA) requires that Web Sites are to obtain parental consent before collecting, using, or disclosing personal information from children under 13.  If you are not yet 13 years old, you are NOT, and may NOT become, licensed to use any of the products or services at The Company.  This includes FREE services.

12. The Company sells or provides The Knowledge "as is", without any warranty of any kind.  The Company specifically disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of design, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

13. By purchasing or using The Knowledge from The Company, Clients are explicitly agreeing to this Disclaimer and any amendments posted here.
